Join Janice and David for a healing practice that includes a gentle vinyasa practice (Flow), as well as a restorative practice (Restore) assisted by a powerful gong bath.
The flow portion will give you an opportunity to more deeply connect to the rhythm of your breath. Poses will focus on shoulder opening, heart opening, hips and twists (places where we humans generally carry tension) giving you the opportunity to use your breath as a tool to relax and open throughout your body.
After the flow, we will offer a restorative sequence (Restore) that will encourage you to soften and allow the props to support you, while you allow your breath to nourish and heal your body and spirit.
The additional gift of a gong bath meditation is an ideal tool for stress reduction, stimulation of the glandular system, and serves as a facilitator to break up emotional, physiological and spiritual blockages. The vibration produced by the gong performs a deep ultrasonic massage of the skin, muscles, bones, internal organs... the entire body vibrates deeply on a cellular level. The nerves are stretched. The receiver then falls into deep states of relaxation and meditation that may produce profound revelatory realizations
